We tailor our courses to suit the students’ needs, to assist them in creating
their own work, and help them produce high-quality films.
Established in 2021, the KAFA pre-production program aims for students to complete scenarios and the production plan.
It has been implemented to foster the connection between the KAFA
regular program and the Feature film program so that the KAFA regular program graduates who experienced short film directing, could be easily adapted to feature film production.
The
KAFA pre-production program includes feature film production and animation production. Throughout the program, the KAFA regular program graduates (and also, those who has the same ability as
them) are going to be educated to develop screenwriting as well as preproduction ability so as to stably ease into the KAFA Feature film program.
The program focuses on ‘critique’(in which professors and all the students in the same major fiercely discuss on the students’ synopsis, treatment and scenarios) and ‘1 to 1 mentoring’.
This is a distinctive difference, compared to any other screnario developing(pre-production) education programs in Korea..
During the course, students will receive a small amount of support fund (for students in animation production major, design development fund will also follow.) so that they concentrate on
screenwriting development.
Moreover, the excellent graduates will achieve the opportunity to directly enter the KAFA Feature film program. It is the best chance for those who direct
and produce feature films in KAFA.
