DIRECTING

Directing major

The Directing major aims to foster the skills of "directors with an integrated range of abilities" who can work in all areas of film production. To these candidates, KAFA offers training on the essential elements of becoming an accomplished director. KAFA additionally provides learning in fields such as liberal arts, humanities, and social studies in order to provide students with a broader perspective that they can apply to their work. KAFA has also introduced specialized subjects to equip students with a comprehensive set of applied directing skills. The institute offers a variety of hands-on opportunities and supports production costs to help students build practical experience (the full costs will be funded from within the school’s budget).
